House Bill No 3221 addresses the concern that there are too many facilities that don’t receive fire safety inspections because there are currently not enough inspectors to get that job done. These include many day cares and home health facilities. The bill motions to help the fire department address and improve upon this shortage. The bill is currently pending, and would be enacted on September 1st of 2013.
