House Bill 82 proposes that college and university numbering systems be updated. There is currently a great deal of confusion amongst college students regarding course numbers, especially for transfer students. The current numbers system is not very user friendly. Transfer students struggle to see which classes need to be retaken, often making mistakes. The bill is currently being discussed, and would be enacted on September 1st of 2013.
